What is softwash anyway?

Softwashing is a method of cleaning your siding using low pressure. It uses this low pressure coupled with an industry approved algaecide to safely clean without the damage a pressure washer can cause and is followed by a gentle rinse. Pressure washing siding can force moisture along with the algae between and behind the siding and creates a perfect environment for the algae or mold to grow back. This is the reason we never pressure wash siding and use softwash instead.
